The 2026 Kawasaki Z900 is here, priced at Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The Japanese middleweight naked received a substantial overhaul coming into 2025, so it’s no surprise that the MY26 bike sees no major mechanical changes.

New Kawasaki Z900 price and details
2026 Kawasaki Z900 engine makes 1hp and 1.2Nm more
The new Z900 carries forward all the updates introduced with the 2025 model, including the comprehensively overhauled styling and revised electronics. Powering the bike is a 948cc inline-4 liquid-cooled engine producing 125hp and 98.6Nm of torque, which, according to Kawasaki India’s website, is 1hp and 1.2Nm more than last year’s model.
The electronics package remains unchanged, offering ride-by-wire throttle, cruise control, a bidirectional quickshifter, power modes, riding modes, traction control and dual-channel ABS.
For 2026, the Kawasaki Z900 is available in two new colour schemes. One of them brings back the iconic Candy Green colourway that was unavailable on the 2025 bike, while the other is a new black paint option with a gold frame.
Last month, the Kawasaki Z900 price climbed from Rs 9.52 lakh to Rs 10.18 lakh after the revised GST rates came into effect. However, the Z900 is one of Kawasaki’s bestselling bikes in India, so it’s a thoughtful move by the brand to bring the 2026 model back under the Rs 10 lakh mark.
All prices are ex-showroom, India.
